Introducing the Scoot Team
At Journe To, we've always believed in meeting people where they are not just as a phrase, but as a practice. And now, we're taking that literally.
We're thrilled to introduce the Journe To Scoot Team, a new initiative made possible through our partnership with Spin. This collaboration allows us to extend our reach far beyond our monthly outreach events and get essential supplies directly into the hands of unhoused community members across Baltimore who we haven't been able to connect with yet.
Volunteers will ride to select locations throughout the city on Spin scooters, delivering much-needed essentials clothing, toiletries, food, and more to individuals right where they are.
Because the truth is, not everyone can make it to us. Some are tucked into corners of the city that don't always get seen. Some are navigating situations that make it hard to travel. Some just need someone to come to them. The Scoot Team is our answer to that.

If you are interested in joining the Scoot Team, please take a look at our criteria below and complete the form to get started.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 months of volunteering, which includes participating in 4 outreach events.

Must attend at least 2 monthly outreach events prior to joining the Scoot Team to gain a clear understanding of Journe To's mission and how we show up for the community.
